Tolkien is gefokt uit de fantastische Querly Chin stam, gecombineerd met de talentvolle Nixon van ’t Meulenhof. Zijn sportieve exterieur, fantastische galoppade en dito springmanieren maken hem zeer interessant zowel als springpaard als dekhengst. Daarnaast is hij zeer intelligent en super fijn om mee te werken. Dat maakt hem voor bijna iedere merrie een potentiële partner!

De afstamming van Tolkien is van bijzondere kwaliteit. Wanneer je kijkt naar de vaders dan zie je achter elkaar de hengsten Nixon van ’t Meulenhof, Elvis ter Putte, Bamako de Muze, Kashmir van ’t Schuttershof, Darco & Chin Chin. Stuk voor stuk hengsten die hun sporen in de wedstrijdring en in de fokkerij ruimschoots verdiend hebben. Nixon van ’t Meulenhof komt uit één van de beste stammen wereldwijd. Hij veroverde op jonge leeftijd de harten van de springliefhebbers. Met zijn goede galoppade, overzicht en extreem goede techniek is hij een opvallende verschijning in de Belgische hengstencompetitie en werd terecht winnaar van de BWP Young Stallion Award. Als zoon van Denzel van ’t Meulenhof en topmerrie Carthina Z is dat geen verrassing. Carthina Z is tevens de moeder van Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, Ilusionata van ’t Meulenhof en Diamanthina van ’t Ruytershof. Inmiddels is de 9 jarige Nixon van ’t Meulenhof, onder Jos Verlooy, succesvol op 1.55 niveau gestart.

Alsof dit allemaal nog niet bijzonder genoeg is maakt de moederlijn de afstamming van Tolkien extra bijzonder. Zeven moeders op rij springen of sprongen op 1.40 niveau en hoger! Zijn moeder Libelle de Muze won onlangs nog een rubriek onder Aiko Paridaen in Vejer de la Frontera. Oma Lora Piana Boyante de Muze was actief op 1.60 niveau en is o.a. de moeder van het 1.60 paard Estoy Aqui de Muze. Haar moeder is Narcotique de Muze II die gereden werd door Eric Lamaze op 1.60 niveau. Narcotique gaf naast haar sportcarrière vele toppaarden zoals Sea Cost Ferly, Querlybet Hero en Farfelu de la Pomme. De moeder van Narcotique is Querly Chin (ook succesvol op 1.60 niveau) die aan de basis staat van deze fantastische stam.  waar paarden als Exquis Wallnoot de Muze, Vagabond de la Pomme, Jenson van ’t Meulenhof, Toupie de la Roque en Ducati van ’t Schuttershof uitkomen. Bijzonder om te vermelden is dat de vader van Nixon van ‘t Meulenhof, Denzel van ’t Meulenhof tevens uit deze stam komt en dat het waardevolle bloed van Querly Chin en haar familie op deze manier dubbel is vastgelegd in Tolkien.

Tolkien hoeft het niet alleen maar van zijn uitmuntende familie te hebben. Zelf heeft hij een fantastisch, modern springpaardenmodel, een lichtvoetige grote galoppade en springt met veel techniek en inzet. Daarnaast beschikt deze aparte verschijning over een werkwillig en eerlijk karakter. Succes gegarandeerd!!

Tolkien is bred out of the fantastic Querly Chin damline, combined with the talented Nixon van ’t
Meulenhof. His sportive exterior, fantastic canter and ditto jumping qualities makes him very
interesting as a showjumper and as a breeding stallion. Besides that Tolkien is very intelligent and
super nice to work with. That makes him a potential partner for almost every mare!
The lineage of Tolkien is very special. When you look at the sires we see stallions Nixon van ’t
Meulenhof, Elvis ter Putte, Bamako de Muze, Kashmir van ’t Schuttershof, Darco and Chin Chin in a
row. Piece by piece stallions who earned their spurs, both in breeding and sports. Nixon van ’t
Meulenhof is bred out of one of the best damlines in the world. He conquered the hearts of
showjumping lovers as a young horse. With his great canter, overview and extreme good technique
he was an eyecatcher during the stallion competition and won the BWP Young Stallion Award
deservedly. As a son of Denzel van ’t Meulenhof and topmare Carthina Z his talent is no surprise.
Carthina Z is also the mother of Emerald van ’t Ruytershof, Ilusionata van ’t Meulenhof and
Diamanthina van ’t Ruytershof. In the meantime the 9 years old Nixon van ’t Meulenhof is very
successful with Jos Verlooy at 1.55 level.
As if this wasn’t special enough, Tolkien’s damline makes the pedigree even more extraordinary.
Seven mothers in a row jumped 1.40 or even higher! His mother Libelle de Muze won recently a class
with Aiko Paridaen in Vejer de la Frontera. Grandmother Loro Piana Boyante de Muze jumped 1.60
and is the mother of the 1.60 horse Estoy Aqui de Muze. Her mother is Narcotique de Muze II who
jumped 1.60 with Eric Lamaze. Narcotique is also the mother of horses like Sea Cost Ferly, Querlybet
Hero and Farfelu de la Pomme. The mother of Narcotique is Querly Chin (also succesfull at 1.60 level)
who stands at the base of this fantastic damline. The damline of horses like Exquis Wallnoot de
Muze, Vagabond de la Pomme, Jenson van ’t Meulenhof, Toupie de la Roque and Ducati van ’t
Schuttershof. Special to mention is the fact that the father of Nixon van ’t Meulenhof, Denzel van ’t
Meulenhof is bred out of this same Querly Chin line. That means that her valuable blood and that of
her family can be found twice in Tolkien.
Tolkien doesn’t just need it from his excellent family. He has a fantastic, modern jumping model, a
light-footed big canter, jumps with a lot of technique and has a great attitude. Besides that this
special appearance is very willing to work and has a honest character. Success guaranteed!!
