Stargos

Stargos is het voorbeeld van een modern top sportpaard.
Hij beschikt over zeer veel atletisch vermogen, spectaculaire reflexen, een hoge mate van
lichtvoetigheid en een topinstelling. Met topvererver Stakkato Gold als vader en Conthargos als
moedersvader belooft de pedigree van Stargos veel voor de toekomst. Stargos moeder Carlotta
springt 1.35m en is een dochter van de uitstekend fokkende merrie Ebata; deze Argentinus-dochter
bracht onder meer 1.60m-springpaard Carla de Balou en de volle zus van Stargos zijn moeder, het
1.50m-springpaard Call Me Diva. Daarnaast is Ebata de grootmoeder van Grand Prix- springpaard
Landlady. Overgrootmoeder Lugina sprong zelf met succes op 1.40m-niveau en gaf onder meer de
hengst Montealban La Silla. Stargos slaagde met een hoge score van 80 punten voor het KWPN-
verrichtingsonderzoek. Als vijfjarige werd 6e op het NK voor 5-jarige paarden, won o.a. de finale van
de GMB jongepaardencompetitie en alle 3 manches en de finale van de Blom-hengstencompetitie.
Ook als zesjarige blijft Stargos een echte winnaar; zo won hij onder Hessel Hoekstra wederom alle
voorrondes van de hengstencompetitie.

Stargos VDL made a great impression at the Oldenburger Stallion Approvals; he stood out with his
excellent jumping technique, especially a fantastic way of using his back end on the jump. Stargos
VDL also showed lots of athletic ability, spectacular reflexes and is very light on his feet. With top
stallion Stakkato Gold as a sire and the upcoming Conthargos as a dam’s sire, the pedigree of Stargos
promises a lot for the future. Stargos dam Carlotta jumps at 1.35m-level and is a daughter of the
excellent broodmare Ebata; this Argentinus daughter produced 1.60m showjumper Carla de Balou
and the 1.50m showjumper Call Me Diva, full sister of Stargos his mother. In addition, Ebata is the
granddam to Grand Prix showjumper Landlady. Great-granddam Lugina jumped successfully at 1.40m
level and produced the stallion Montealban La Silla. Stargos successfully passed for the KWPN
performance test and passed with a total score of 80 points. As a five years old he was placed 6th in
the national Dutch championships for 5-year-old horses and won a.o. the GMB young horse
competition final, all 3 legs and the final of the Blom stallion competition. Even as a six-year-old,
Stargos continues to be a true winner; under Hessel Hoekstra, he once again won all preliminary
rounds of the stallion competition.
