McAllister VDL

McAllister werd in 2020 uitgeroepen tot één van de KWPN-premiehengsten; de royaal ontwikkelde
voshengst blonk uit met zijn model, balans, atletisch vermogen en lichtvoetigheid. Een échte zoon
van zijn vader Inaico VDL – de fantastische springende volle broer van Grand-Prixspringpaard Hello
M’Lady van Scott Brash. Inaico VDL toont uitzonderlijk veel talent; de Indoctro-zoon springt met
uitmuntende reflexen, een goede techniek en veel atletisch vermogen. Moedersvader Emilion
behoorde jarenlang tot de vaandeldragers van de VDL Stud en is zowel als vader als moedersvader
bijzonder invloedrijk geweest.
Overgrootvader Contender mag tot de beste hengsten van Duitsland gerekend worden, terwijl
datzelfde ook gezegd kan worden over Landgraf I en Capitol I. McAllister’s moeder Zoklahoma VDL
bracht reeds het 1.60m-springpaard Doklahoma VDL van Mohammed Al Hajri, terwijl grootmoeder
Oklahoma onder meer de bekende hengst For Fashion en het Grand Prix-springpaard Floyo VDL van
Richard Vogel voortbracht. McAllister’s pedigree gaat uiteindelijk terug op de wereldberoemde
Holsteiner stam 104a.

Palmares
Bij het springen overtuigt McAllister met afdruk, lichtvoetigheid, reflexen, gemak en atletisch
vermogen. Hierin doet hij veel denken aan zowel vader Inaico VDL als aan zijn succesvolle halfzus
Doklahoma VDL.
In de hengstencompetitie sprong hij foutloze rondes in Kronenberg en Exloo, en werd hij foutloos 5e
in De Meern. In de finale van de Hengstencompetitie in ‘s-Hertogenbosch 2022 eindigde hij als 6e.
Als 5- en 6-jarige heeft McAllister zijn eerste internationale ervaring opgedaan en was hij meerdere
keren geplaatst. Zo werd hij 2e op Riesenbeck drie keer, 4e op het KWPN-kampioenschap voor 6-
jarigen en 4e in CSI De Wolden. Hij behaalde ook overwinningen, waaronder de 1e plaats in
Valkenswaard en in de 1* Grote Prijs van Poznan. McAllister werd 2e op Riesenbeck op 1.40m en 4e
in Leeuwarden op 1.40m, en 5e in YH Riesenbeck. Verder sprong hij foutloos in de 1* Grote Prijs van
Geesteren en driemaal foutloos in YH Eindhoven. McAllister werd 7e in het KWPN Kampioenschap
voor 7-jarigen en was finalist op het WK in Lanaken voor 7-jarigen. Hij springt momenteel op 1.40m-
niveau en behaalt daar consistent uitstekende resultaten.

McAllister was named one of the KWPN premium stallions in 2020; this generously developed
chestnut stallion stood out with his conformation, balance, athleticism, and light-footedness. He is a
true son of his sire Inaico VDL – the fantastic jumping full brother of the Grand Prix show jumper
Hello M’Lady, ridden by Scott Brash. Inaico VDL demonstrates exceptional talent; the Indoctro son
jumps with excellent reflexes, good technique, and great athletic ability. His dam’s sire, Emilion, was
for many years one of the leading stallions at VDL Stud and has been extremely influential as both a
sire and damsire.
McAllister’s pedigree also traces back to some of the best stallions of Germany, including great-
grandfather Contender, as well as Landgraf I and Capitol I. His dam, Zoklahoma VDL, already
produced the 1.60m show jumper Doklahoma VDL, ridden by Mohammed Al Hajri, while his
grandmother, Oklahoma, also produced the well-known stallion For Fashion and the Grand Prix show
jumper Floyo VDL, ridden by Richard Vogel. McAllister’s pedigree ultimately traces back to the world-
renowned Holsteiner family 104a.

Competition Results
In show jumping, McAllister impresses with his push-off, light-footedness, reflexes, ease, and athletic
ability. He resembles both his sire Inaico VDL and his successful half-sister Doklahoma VDL in these
aspects.
In the Stallion Competition, he jumped clear rounds in Kronenberg and Exloo, and finished clear and
5th in De Meern. In the 2022 Stallion Competition final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, he placed 6th. As a 5-
and 6-year-old, McAllister gained his first international experience and was placed multiple times. He
was 2nd at Riesenbeck three times, 4th at the KWPN Championship for 6-year-olds, and 4th at CSI De
Wolden. He also secured victories, including 1st place in Valkenswaard and the 1* Grand Prix in
Poznan. McAllister placed 2nd at Riesenbeck in the 1.40m class and 4th in Leeuwarden at 1.40m, and
5th at YH Riesenbeck. Furthermore, he jumped clear in the 1* Grand Prix of Geesteren and jumped
clear three times at YH Eindhoven. McAllister finished 7th at the KWPN Championship for 7-year-olds
and was a finalist at the World Championships in Lanaken for 7-year-olds. He is currently competing
at the 1.40m level, consistently achieving excellent results.
