Zirocco Blue is een internationale topvererver en sportpaard van wereldklasse. Zijn moeder Licorne des Forets sprong zelf op 1.50m-niveau, grootmoeder Gekas des Forets op 1.40m-niveau en was de meest winnende zesjarige van Frankrijk, en overgrootmoeder Rapsodie II sprong eveneens op 1.40m-niveau. Zirocco Blue behoorde onder Jur Vrieling tot de absolute wereldtop in de springsport. Met het Nederlands team won hij goud tijdens het Europees Kampioenschap, individueel eindigde hij als vijfde, en in de Wereldbekerfinale in Las Vegas werd hij tiende. Hij boekte vele Grand Prix-overwinningen, waaronder de wereldbekerwedstrijd in Oslo en GP’s in Kopenhagen, Melsomvik, Geesteren en tijdens de KWPN Hengstenkeuring, en zegevierde met het Nederlandse team in Nations Cups in Rotterdam, Kopenhagen en Gijon.

Zirocco Blue is a world-class show jumper and international sire. His dam, Licorne des Forets, competed at 1.50m level, his granddam Gekas des Forets jumped at 1.40m level and was the highest-winning six-year-old in France, and his great-granddam Rapsodie II also competed at 1.40m level. Under Jur Vrieling, Zirocco Blue ranked among the very best show jumpers in the world.
