Grand Slam VDL

Vader Cardento nam deel aan het WK, het EK en de Olympische Spelen en staat aan de top als
springpaardenvererver met nakomelingen als Zacramento, Nice Stephanie en Cafino. Grootvader
Heartbreaker behoort eveneens tot de top van springpaardenverervers en als derde hengst in de
afstamming zien we Mr. Blue, zelf succesvol op het allerhoogste niveau en vader van
topspringpaarden als Simon en Zirocco Blue. Als vierde en vijfde in de rij zien we de ‘Hengst van de
Eeuw’ Nimmerdor en de prestatieverervende volbloedhengst Erdball xx. Zij zijn verantwoordelijk
voor vele sport- en fokpaarden zoals Apollo, Just Malone, Goldenbridge, Heartbreaker, Ahorn, etc.
Moeder Wonder A.S. bracht ook de goedgekeurde hengst Dallas VDL, internationaal succesvol onder
Jur Vrieling in Grote Prijzen en wereldbekerwedstrijden. Overgrootmoeder is de preferente
prestatiemerrie Bonnette, zij bracht o.a. het Grand Prix-springpaard Annette. Bonnette is een volle
zus van het internationale springpaard Drummer.
Grand Slam is een complete hengst met een topinstelling en valt op met zijn techniek, reflexen en
vermogen. Grand Slam behaalde met een totaal van 90 punten de hoogste score ooit behaald in een
verrichtingsonderzoek en werd overtuigend kampioen. Voor de springonderdelen techniek en
reflexen kreeg Grand Slam een 9½ en voor de springonderdelen vermogen, rijdbaarheid en instelling
en aanleg als springpaard kreeg hij een 9. Voor de galop en voor houding en balans kreeg hij een 8.
Gereden door Marlon Zanotelli, heeft Grand Slam VDL zich ontwikkeld tot een sensationele Grand-
Prixhengst op 5*-niveau, met o.a. een overwinning in de Nations Cup La Baule, 2e in de Global
Champions Tour in Praag, 2e in de Grote Prijs van Bordeaux, 5e in de Wereldbekerwedstrijd in
Helsinki en een 6e plaats in de Longines Global Champions Tour GP van Valkenswaard.

Stephanie, and Cafino. Grandfather Heartbreaker is also among the top show jumping sires, and as

performance mare Bonnette, who produced the Grand Prix show jumper Annette, among others.
Bonnette is a full sister to the international show jumper Drummer.
Grand Slam is a complete stallion with a top mentality, standing out for his technique, reflexes, and
ability. Grand Slam achieved the highest score ever recorded in a performance test, with a total of 90
points, and was convincingly crowned champion. For the jumping components of technique and
reflexes, Grand Slam received a 9½, and for the components of ability, rideability & mentality, and
talent as a show jumper, he received a 9. For the canter and for posture & balance, he received an 8.

Ridden by Marlon Zanotelli, Grand Slam VDL has developed into a sensational Grand Prix stallion at
5* level, with victories including the Nations Cup in La Baule, 2nd place in the Global Champions Tour
in Prague, 2nd in the Grand Prix of Bordeaux, 5th in the World Cup competition in Helsinki, and a 6th
place in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Valkenswaard.
